Do you know how hard it is to teach without a voice? Today is the 2nd day of my second semester classes, and I have all new students, but no voice to speak of. (hee hee) However, it has made me take more advantage of my technology resources, which is great. I have been using powerpoint slides to communicate to the kids, and also using the networking software so that I can show them things on their computers. I would have taken the day off if I could have, but I really needed to be here. I'm surviving, with the help of my friend, technology.
So, Brian is done with all of his interviews...Yippee! Now we get to just sit and wait and find out where we will be heading. Only 2 more months of waiting. I hope my sanity sticks around. Right now the front runners are Michigan, Minnesota, Baylor, and Ohio State. I'm trying to figure out if I should just go ahead and get my certification in a couple more states so that I can actually apply for jobs come March. And I'm working on getting that darn technology endorsement added on to my license, but it's taking a long time.
